In order to define the form and program of the expansion, different schemes are made to further understand the space and context of the building. These schemes took the ideas of the puzzle from Phase 2 and adapt them to be applied to an architectural scale.
Middle School Expansion
The Middle School in Morbio Inferiore contains three main wings: school building, gymnasium, and custodian house. The expansion proposes three more wings to complete the school's basic facility and add another educational level. The expansion includes office buildings, canteen, kindergarten, swimming pool, sports field, and new entrances.
