FIT BOX

Fit box is the game base on the mission statement (Project 1 Didactic DNA) where the concepts are based on the characteristics of the given institute which is Chandigarh college of architecture. Although the main purpose of the institute itself doesn't have a clear objective, I managed to extract some significance part of the building such as the Grid that apply to the plan or the circulation around the building of Le Corbusier's work.

These are the manual template for the FIT BOX which explain how The final ideal are processing or where the inspiration came from. For example the Box which is the main inventory inspired by the plan shape of the Chandigarh college of architecture, the sticks are inspired by the circulation while also having the card as the supporting tools. In the Manuel also explain how the rules work and how each components function.

Consists of 
-25 boxes
-16 joints
Work as the base of the main generator having the 
holes in all rounds for the sticks to form up in
different form guiding by the cards

Sticks
 

Consists of 
-30 pieces of sticks
-3 red
-11 Blue
-13 Yellow
-3 Multiple colors
Inspired by the circulation of the building of CCA then
form it into the stick where each sticks are repititively
used to form up different form of plan following the card order

Consist of

Each cards would have different plan of the building designed by
Le Corbusier. It also give a hint in the plan itself and the photo of each
buildings also provided with the 3circles at the bottoms telling
 the minimum sticks, the level of difficulty, and whether there are 
any green space while having the answer or solution at the back.


OBJECTIVES

The objective is to form up the structure of the building whether which part are circulation secondary components or green space using the given cards to guide how to play with the given sticks. All the sticks doesn't need to be all used but the box has to be filled.

STUDY MODEL

Here are the study models which I have been working on to experiments and find the weak link or the good part that I keep developing on. Each study model have different method of rule and materials which some of features in the final model are developed from.

3D dimensional box
3D Dimensional box is one of the study model which I experiment on how the stick can be form in all direction 360 degrees. The result suggested that it gives the limit to the space inside the box and also the level of the difficulty is too hard to compete.

Fit Box Battle
This is another model which share similar idea as how the game of "battleship" are played 2boxes of 3 times 3 are place vertically let two players using the sticks as much as they can, however the result also suggested that if the box are placed in this form it would limit the ability to remove sticks in some part and also the creativity of the form would be reduced.

Re-assemble Fit box
 This is another form of study model which the rules are to let the player re-assemble the box by themselves with the given 15 boxes and 7 joints with the same rule apply which to maximize the number sticks use as they can.

 First study model
The first study model which has been developed by the shape the form and the joints. Played with given sticks used the most sticks as the player could.
