' Fraternal Twins reinterpretations and variants '

' The NEW Le Fresnoy '

After taking the Le Fresnoy concept and characteristics to develop it as a toy ( learning tool ), from now we were asked to moving on to the bigger scale which we have to create and design the ' fraternal twins ' of our own case study by taking its DNA and also the architect style.

The design of ' The NEW Le Fresnoy ' is developed from the program and characteristic of the Le fresnoy which was the media school for new generations crossover artist, created a big amount of contemporary art which is about to combining art with the new technology for example audio-visual, every work from the students and the visitor instructor are prepared to present each year in the event called panorama event.

' The NEW Le Fresnoy ' were located besides the Le Fresnoy to fulfill the Le Fresnoy which I added more program to ' the NEW Le fresnoy ' for example some performance class so that the student will not just product the audio-visual or short film but also allow and have more chance to produce the long movie or animation. I have taking the old existing warehouse besides there to renovate it as the new school building which contained the library, lecture class, cinema, editing room, studio for shooting and photography and the new long exhibition hall to present the student work. All the program were arranged follow the plan concept of the pre-production -> production -> post-production related to the continuous experiences ideal of Bernard Tschumi, an architect who design the Le Fresnoy.

Connecting the Le Fresnoy with ' the NEW Le Fresnoy ' together by extending the sructural column from both the Le Fresnoy and the existing warehouse together allover the between space and ctreated the huge giantic bridge roof, fly over the existing house and the garden underneath. This bridge were design mimic to the new roof with the suspended circulation also the concept of the in-between space at the le fresnoy art center however this bridge be both the circulation and the roof at the same time. Below the bridge provided a long path among the garden which also connected to the le fresnoy art center. The bridge also prepared the space for some performance show, sound editing themes, the 360 degree panorama screen and pavilion with the cafe and snack bar for resting and relaxing.
